Oakland City Challenge Design Workshops

Oakland City Challenge Design Workshops

Sep 01Dec 31

In collaboration with the City of Oakland and the Oakland Fund for Public Innovation, the Burnes Center and Mills College at Oakland ran an open innovation challenge to source resident solutions to the challenges of homelessness, violent crime, and abandoned vehicles. For three months this fall, we are conducting a series of weekly design sessions to help winners take their projects from idea to implementation in Oakland. By invitation.
