AI For Impact Co-Op
About
Bonisha Maitra is a third-year undergraduate student at Northeastern University studying Computer Science and Design. She is currently working with the City of Boston to streamline the permitting experience through AI suggestions. Bonisha brings a multidisciplinary background in product, strategy, and marketing from organizations like Character Lab, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and Bank of America. She also serves as a Studio Director at Scout, Northeastern’s student-led design studio, where she helps bring real-world projects to life at the intersection of impact and design.
Raised across five countries, Bonisha is deeply curious about how culture shapes design. She is also the founder of PCOS Connect, a platform focused on building community and access for women with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), and is a competitive hip hop dancer, café explorer, and lover of anything that blends creativity with impact.
