Our Team

Myojung Chung is an Assistant Professor of Journalism and Media Innovation at Northeastern University. Her research focuses on the intersection of AI, misinformation, and social justice, with a particular interest in how AI both creates and prevents misinformation and how these impacts are unevenly distributed across various sociodemographic groups. Her current project examines this new type of digital divide to foster a more equitable digital landscape and empower all users to navigate the complexities of information in the algorithm-driven age.
