Democracy Impact Studios: Countering Election Subversion

On April 19, the Burnes Center will host the first of three discussions that will bring together diverse experts in a range of disciplines and fields to surface concrete and specific solutions that philanthropy could support to counter efforts that cast doubt or undermine the integrity of U.S. elections. Supported by Democracy Fund Voice, the first discussion, “Misuse of the Legal System: How can philanthropy address the willingness to misuse legal and administrative processes in the context of elections?”, will aim to devise practical solutions regarding the misuse of administrative and legal systems, including willingness to misuse the courts, freedom of information act requests, and other administrative processes aimed at subverting elections.
