Our Team

Róbert, an innovative entrepreneur, founded the first internet companies in Iceland (1993) and Denmark (1995). He co-founded the Citizens Foundation in 2008 to improve public decision making with civic tech. Earlier, he worked in the gaming industry, earning two BAFTAs. He also developed Agent Ruby, an early AI chatbot for artist Lynn Hershman’s, now part of SFMOMA’s digital collection. Currently, he’s developing the Policy Synth project GovLab, integrating AI and collective intelligence to improve policy-making.
