A Snapshot of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) Procurement Challenges

The Governance Lab produced a draft white paper on AI procurement challenges entitled “A Snapshot of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) Procurement Challenges: Diagnosing Perceived and Actual Risks Slowing AI and Machine Learning Acquisition in Government.”  The work was supported by a grant from Google Cloud. 

On January 25th, 11 am – 12:30 pm ET, we are hosting a virtual conversation with selected leaders at the federal level to discuss the paper’s conclusions and recommendations and explore together what government, industry and academia can do to support government’s ability to procure responsible machine learning and AI.
