AI Procurement in Government
Nov 01 – Dec 31
In collaboration with Google, the Burnes Center and the GovLab are running a series of workshops for people inside government who hope to use artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning to improve government operations. Artificial intelligence (AI), currently practiced through a computer technology called machine learning (ML), presents many promising benefits to government. But government procurement practices need to evolve to make sure that AI systems meet intended purposes, avoid bias and other risks, and are well-understood by the people who use and maintain the systems. Open to public servants.
