InnovateUS: How to Apply Human-Centered Design to Government AI Projects

Join us for this 90-minute virtual workshop with Elham Ali, Researcher at the Opportunity Project for Cities with the Beeck Center for Social Impact and Innovation at Georgetown University. In this training, participants will learn about approaches to integrate the principles of human-centered design and equity to Artificial Intelligence (AI) design, use and evaluation. Elham will share best practices for public sector professionals to apply human-centered design in AI to their work projects, team, and community collaboration. Participants will also learn from a city government case study where government advisers, community nonprofits, and a technology company worked together to successfully apply human-centered and generative AI design to a civic technology project.
