About

Anjith Prakash is an AI Engineer at the Burnes Center for Social Change, where he builds intelligent tools that help governments and communities deliver public services more effectively. He holds a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence from Northeastern University’s Khoury College of Computer Sciences.

As a key contributor to GrantWell, Anjith architected an AI-powered platform that helps Massachusetts communities identify federal funding opportunities and navigate complex grant applications. His work combines advanced retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems with intuitive user experiences, making sophisticated AI technology accessible to non-technical users in the public sector.

Before joining the Burnes Center, Anjith contributed to healthcare AI research at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School, where he explored the integration of artificial intelligence into clinical radiology workflows with a focus on safety and reliability. His work has been published in leading radiology journals, and he serves as a peer reviewer for the European Journal of Radiology Artificial Intelligence.

Outside of work, Anjith is an avid traveler, photographer, and food enthusiast who enjoys exploring new places, cultures, and cuisines.
