About

Eileen Twiggs is a Strategic Advisor at InnovateUS, a project of the Burnes Center for Social Change and the GovLab, where she assists the workshop team in the design, development, and delivery of live training for public sector professionals. 

Eileen brings more than two decades of experience in education, law, technology, healthcare, and business to her work at InnovateUS. She was an attorney at Cravath, Swaine & Moore, a global law firm based in NYC; General Counsel and Vice President of Operations at Thaumaturgix, Inc., a technology consulting company; and held a variety of positions over the course of more than a decade at Planned Parenthood Federation of America, including Associate General Counsel, National Director of Information Systems and Strategy, and Vice President of Health Information Technology & Business Initiatives. She has previously taught computer science courses at Hunter College, literature and political science courses at The New School and pre-law courses at Stockton University. Eileen currently teaches and counsels prospective law students and spends part of her year working as an interpretive ranger for the National Park Service. Eileen is also a certified yoga teacher, a writer, and an avid traveler, hiker, reader, and tennis fan.

Eileen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Hunter College, a Law degree from Yale Law School, and a Masters of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from The New School.
