AI For Impact Co-Op
About
Hassan is a Computer Science student at Middlesex College with strong interests in applied artificial intelligence, automation, and building end-to-end software systems that improve learning and accessibility. His project experience includes developing an AI-powered McGrawHill quiz automation and note-generation tool that classifies and answers practice questions while producing structured study materials, building a course-level analytics platform that enhances professor review data beyond traditional rating systems, and launching a full-stack Django website for the Middlesex Math Club. The Math Club platform transformed static Student Math League PDFs into interactive quizzes by parsing content into structured JSON, rendering LaTeX-based questions, enabling student registration, and providing instant feedback and scoring through a reliable backend database.
In addition to his project work, Hassan serves as a Student Technology Assistant, where he provides one-on-one technical support to students. In this role, he helps peers debug code, set up development environments, and understand core computer science concepts, while also advising on project structure, tooling, and best practices. He enjoys mentoring others and values clear communication between technical and non-technical collaborators.
Outside of work, Hassan enjoys playing video games, chess, and listening to music. He likes exploring new technologies, building personal software projects, and continuously deepening his understanding of AI systems and software design.
