Jessica is a driven and passionate political science student that deeply values hard work and communication. Her interests lie anywhere from public policy research, to public relations, to journalism, to law and legal studies.
Growing up outside of Washington D.C., she has always loved politics and the political world. At the Burnes Center she helps strategize and craft communications that aids in the group’s mission to solve public problems more effectively. She previously worked full-time at The Novus Group as a Public Affairs Co-op. In this position, she continued building upon skills she has learned from her first co-op at the Mayor of Boston’s Press Office, while also exploring what it meant to work in the private sector in a client-facing role.
