About
Neha Tummala is a Master’s student in Applied Machine Intelligence at Northeastern University. With a background in Artificial Intelligence and hands-on experience in machine learning and NLP, she is passionate about building ethical, scalable systems that create public impact, especially across customer analytics, digital health, and generative AI. Recently, she designed a cloud-native resume screening platform that streamlines hiring by integrating LLMs to support faster, fairer decision-making.
She is currently working on a generative AI project for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ Operational Services Division, where she is developing AI-driven approaches to streamline and strengthen the legal contract review process in state procurement. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and exploring new places, watching suspense thrillers, and discovering great food spots.
