About
Raiyah is an undergraduate student in Northeastern University’s College of Arts, Media, and Design pursuing a degree in Journalism with minors in Arabic and Psychology. She is a Communications Consultant at the Burnes Center for Social Change within the InnovateUS organization.
Previously, Raiyah has held multiple state government positions within the Office of the Governor of Massachusetts. Under Governor Charlie Baker, Raiyah was a Specialist Administrative Assistant, Legal Assistant, and Boards and Commissions Intern. She is in her final year at Northeastern as an international student from South Africa and hopes to apply her experience at The Burnes Center to future career opportunities – promoting and increasing democracy and equity both domestically and in her home country.
