About

Rui is an undergraduate student at Northeastern studying computer science with a concentration in Human-Centered Computing. Previously she has worked as a front-end developer for Thread, a Y-Combinator startup, where she worked on programming interfaces that streamlined company services for clients.

She’s particularly interested in the application of technology to enhance the experience of people in their everyday tasks. Outside of classes and work, she enjoys strength training and exploring creative activities like drawing, crocheting, and cooking.
