About

Punith is a graduate student pursuing an MS in Artificial Intelligence at Northeastern University. He has prior industry experience as a Python Developer at Wipro, where he built and deployed AI-driven automation systems, including an LSTM-based error prediction platform that reduced manual investigation time by 40 percent. His experience spans machine learning, natural language processing, data engineering, and system deployment, with a strong focus on building reliable, production-ready AI solutions.

Punith is passionate about building meaningful and responsible AI systems that address real-world challenges. As part of his academic work, he completed a research-focused project exploring sentence-level transformer architectures for next-sentence prediction, shifting beyond traditional token-level language modeling to reason at a semantic level. Through his coursework and projects, he has developed a strong foundation in generative AI, reinforcement learning, and applied NLP.

Outside of academics and professional work, Punith enjoys playing chess, going to the gym, and spending time exploring new ideas in technology and artificial intelligence.
