AI For Impact Co-Op

About

Kaushik is a graduate student in Software Engineering Systems at Northeastern’s College of Engineering, driven by a passion for developing AI solutions that can make a real difference in people’s lives.

His work focuses on creating innovative technologies that bridge the gap between cutting-edge software and meaningful societal impact. One such project is Kitchen Rescue, a web application that uses OpenAI to generate personalized recipes and recognize grocery items, making meal preparation easier for users.

At the Burnes Center, Kaushik aims to apply AI technologies to develop innovative solutions for government agencies, non-profit organizations, and global philanthropies, transforming complex challenges into opportunities for positive change.

When he’s not coding or studying, Kaushik channels his passion for sports as a Northeastern Intramurals Sports Official and a dedicated member of the university’s cricket team, bringing the same collaborative spirit he applies to technology to the playing field.
